Wine Events

Doors open at 5:30. Wine Captain Thomas D'Acquisto opens the evening as your host: tonight's region, tonight's question, the first wine in your glass. He introduces each wine as it's poured. Some come out on their own. Some come out as a pair, side by side. Some are poured blind so you can taste them on their own terms before you know what's in the glass.

Plates from our kitchen come out in three rounds for each of you: an appetizer, a main, and a dessert, chosen to bring every pour into focus.

Come alone. Bring a date. Bring a group of friends. Whatever way you walk in, the goal is the same: you taste across a region, sharpen your palate against the table, and leave with a short list of bottles you now know how to pick out of the boutique. We want you to have a great time.

Every seat is well worth it. Pricing includes all the wine, all the food, tax, and gratuity. Walk in with your wallet closed.

Not a thing. These nights are built for people who love wine and people who want to learn it. Thomas introduces every bottle with the story behind it, the region it comes from, and what to look for in the glass. Beginners walk out knowing more than they did when they walked in. Wine lovers walk out with new producers they'd never heard of. Everyone leaves with bottles they want to drink again.

Premium bottles from the region we're featuring that month. Our team spent over a year tasting hundreds of wines to build our list of 102, and these events are where we open the ones worth the most conversation. Producers you'd see on a great restaurant wine list, often at a fraction of restaurant markup. Names you know next to names you've never heard of. By the end of the night, you'll know exactly which ones earned a spot on your shelf.

Yes. Email us at tom@buoncibosd.com with the names of everyone in your party and we'll do our best to seat you together. This goes for couples who booked on different days, friend groups, coworkers, anyone who picked up tickets at different times but wants to be at the same table. Just give us a heads up before the night and we'll handle the rest.

Every wine you taste is on our shelf and as a participant of our event, you get an additional 10% off the typical price on any bottles you take home that night. Walk out with a bottle, a case, or a list of names to come back for.

Yes, by special request. If you have a group of 10 to 15 people who want their own wine night, a birthday, an anniversary, a work gathering, a milestone, we can build a custom evening around a region or theme of your choice, with Thomas as your host and the kitchen building a menu to match.
