Because we prepare exactly what is reserved, these are pre-order only – just lock in your order by 8 PM the night before. Walk in, grab your dinner, and add a bottle from the wine boutique and a cannoli or tiramisu to make the whole night effortless.
Ham, Ricotta & Spinach-Stuffed Chicken with Sherry Cream Sauce + Mashed Potatoes

This week’s Dinner for Two starts with tender chicken breast stuffed with savory ham, creamy ricotta, and spinach, then finished with a rich sherry cream sauce.
It’s served over a generous bed of fluffy mashed potatoes, so the silky sauce settles into every bite. Juicy chicken, salty ham, soft ricotta, earthy spinach, and creamy potatoes come together in one comforting, restaurant-style dinner.
Make it the complete dinner: We highly recommend adding our Caesar Salad. Crisp romaine is tossed with our famous Caesar dressing, shaved and grated Parmesan and Romano cheeses, and crunchy homemade garlic croutons. The cold, crisp Caesar is the perfect contrast to the warm, creamy chicken and mashed potatoes.

Lasagna Sunday is Buon Cibo's ready-to-go Italian Sunday dinner for two: a quarter tray of meat lasagna made from the Tarantino family recipe, served with garlic bread, all for $35.

At Buon Cibo in Scripps Ranch, Lasagna Sunday carries forward everything people loved about Sugo Sunday: a family recipe, a comforting meal, and one less dinner to plan. Sugo Sunday was our summer tradition. Starting this August, the Sunday table belongs to lasagna.
Each quarter tray brings together generous layers of pasta, rich meat sauce, and melted cheese. On the side, you get garlic bread for every last bit of sauce you will not want to leave behind.
Bring it home, set the table, and let Sunday dinner take care of itself. No grocery list. No pile of pans. No last-minute question about what to make. Just a family-recipe meat lasagna, garlic bread, and dinner for two.

Where we come from: The Roots of Buon Cibo
Buon Cibo Italian Specialties isn't just a name—it's a legacy seasoned with sea salt from Porticello, Sicily, and simmered in the vibrant flavors of San Diego's Little Italy.
Our story begins with the Tarantino family, when Pietro Tarantino and Gaetano D'Acquisto set sail for San Diego in the early 1900s. These intrepid Sicilian fishermen didn't just bring their nets; they carried with them the rich culinary traditions that would eventually give birth to Buon Cibo.
Fast forward to today, where Tom Tarantino, grandson of these pioneering spirits, has transformed his family's passion for authentic Italian fare into San Diego's newest culinary destination.
