A hundred and eight bottles on the wall in Scripps Ranch, priced like the shop they are sitting in rather than the restaurant you are sitting in. Pull one off the rack and we will open it and pour it properly. Take the same bottle home and you pay the same price.
How the wall works
Most places buy a bottle and sell it to you for three times what it cost. We do not. The wall is priced as a market, and that price does not change when you decide to drink it here. Buy it, drink it at the table, or carry it home - it costs the same.
Sixty-nine of the hundred and eight are Italian, with California, France, Spain and South America alongside. It is built to be drunk rather than collected, though there are a few bottles on there for the nights when it matters.
