Six Sicilian wines, one served blind. A full Sicilian menu. A guest speaker on the history of Little Italy San Diego. And a personal trip through Tom’s Sicilian roots, right here in Scripps Ranch.
A trip to Tom’s lineage, poured one glass at a time.
For two nights this July, Buon Cibo is turning the evening over to Sicily.
This is more than a wine tasting. It is a night of volcanic wines, Sicilian food, family history, Little Italy stories, and the kind of Italian hospitality that makes you want to stay at the table a little longer.
You’ll taste six exceptional wines from Sicily, with one served blind for a little mystery and fun. Some wines will be bright, coastal, and electric. Others will be deep, bold, and sun-soaked. If you know wine, you’ll have plenty to discover. If you don’t, you’ll still know exactly what matters: what tastes good, what pairs beautifully, and what makes Sicily feel so alive in the glass.
We’ll also be joined by a guest speaker sharing the history of Little Italy San Diego, connecting Sicily, Italian immigration, family, food, and the local Italian story that helped shape this city.
And yes, there will be food.
The Buon Cibo kitchen will be serving a Sicilian-inspired menu with pinsa, Pasta alla Norma, braised beef, Sicilian salad, roasted vegetables, and chef’s choice dessert.
Saturday, July 23
5:30–8:00 PM
Seats are limited to 30 per evening
